Multipass Tourist Office Chatel: With Chalet Rose we take a Multipass abonnement from chatel Tourist Office. As renter this gives you the opportunity to pay 2 euro per day per person and use the lifts, swimming pool and tennis courts for free. Also other reduced fares apply.

Hiking: Hiking routes (potentially combined with sleeping in a mountain hut, serving as catered chalet) start just behind Chalet Rose and are inidicated with signs. In the summer, the ski lift of Super-Châtel is open. There are many lovely lakes and you will see many cows and goats.

Cycling: In the summer the size of the area is as impressive as the tremendous skiing are in winter : 660 km traced routes, 24 open ski lifts, Bike Parks, trialcircuits... in a few years, Les Portes du Soleil became mountain bikers’ paradise, where all the mountain bikers in the world are meeting eachother. Some of the best mountain bikers in the world meet eachother here to compete in matches or discover new tracks.

Swimming: In the centre of Chatel is a large public swimming pool. Besides the large pool is a separate shallow pool for children.

Golf: In Chatel is a small 7 holes golf course, in Avoriaz a 9 holes golf course, but the true golf lover should go to the the adjacent 18 holes golf course of Les Gets.

For more action or the need for sensation, test one of the many activities offered in the surrounding villages: from parapente to mountain karting via the Fantasticable or canyoning.
