Chatel is situated in the beautiful Portes du Soleil. Les Portes du Soleil are situated in the Northern Alpes, between the Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva. The weather is both in the winter as well as in the summer perfect. In winter, Les Portes du Soleil is certain of snow, in summer it is sunny, but not too hot.

The chalet is situated across the Linga ski lift, which gives access to Les Portes du Soleil. Also the centre of Chatel is nearby: half an hour by foot, or a few minutes by car or local skibus. The skibus goes every 10 minutes and stops in front of the chalet.
